RESTLESS Coordination Meeting and Train-the-Trainers Workshop in Cologne Advance Health Entrepreneurship Training
From 8th to 10th of April, the RESTLESS consortium gathered in Cologne, Germany, for the 3rd RESTLESS Coordination Meeting alongside a dedicated Train-the-Trainers Workshop. Hosted by the University Hospital of Cologne, the meeting marked a decisive step in finalising the RESTLESS Health Entrepreneurship Training Programme.
Bringing together Higher Education Institutions and Small and Medium Enterprises from across Europe, the event reinforced RESTLESS’ mission to empower university students and graduates with entrepreneurial, digital and green skills tailored to the health sector.
Refining the RESTLESS Health Entrepreneurship Training Programme
A central focus of the three-day meeting was the review and enhancement of the training modules that will form the core of the upcoming RESTLESS Training Programme. Partners presented their modules, exchanged feedback and worked collaboratively to ensure coherence, quality and practical relevance.
The programme, designed to address the skills mismatch in the European health industry, equips students from Medicine, Life Sciences, Business, Engineering and ICT with competences that respond directly to labour market needs.
During the Train-the-Trainers Workshop, partners also explored effective delivery methodologies, learner engagement strategies and practical tools to maximise the impact of the programme across participating institutions.
Strengthening European Collaboration in Health Innovation
Beyond content development, the coordination meeting provided space to align on timelines, define next steps and ensure smooth implementation in the months ahead. The discussions reflected the strong cooperation between academia and industry that lies at the heart of the RESTLESS project.
By combining academic expertise with insights from health sector professionals, RESTLESS is building a training framework that promotes innovation, sustainability and entrepreneurial thinking within healthcare.
Launching Soon: The RESTLESS Training Programme
With the modules now refined and implementation planning underway, the RESTLESS Training Programme is approaching its official launch. The upcoming rollout will offer students and graduates across Europe the opportunity to develop future-proof skills and contribute to health sector innovation.
